Clayton Supply is part of the Clayton Manufacturing division that consists of over 8,000 Team Members across the United States, currently building upwards of 30,000 homes per year. The Supply group has grown significantly over the last 4 to 5 years, encompassing over 700 team members across four divisions: Distribution, Lamination, Wood Products, and Component Production. With 19 Distribution and Supply locations across the United States, Clayton Supply provides products and supports home building facilities from coast to coast. Our products are specifically engineered to last a lifetime with materials designed to provide maximum strength.
Company History
Since Jim Clayton first opened our doors in 1956, we have been proud to provide affordable manufactured and modular homes, apartments, commercial buildings, military barracks, and college dormitories to people all across America. The first home center was opened in 1966 in Knoxville, TN, and we have grown over the years to over 320 home centers in 31 states as well as 35 home building facilities and 19 distribution and supply locations across the country. Additionally, Clayton Homes became part of Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway family of companies in 2003. Today we build, sell, finance, lease and insure our homes from coast to coast.
